Photos are intended to grab attention, obviously. However, they need a certain amount of shock and awe to accomplish that. The winners and forerunners of this category certainly did that through an abundance of creativity. A feature photo should draw everyone in, not just those who may be interested in that particular subject. There were many excellent photos captured in some very unique ways - these stood out above the rest.
