  • Competition Comment: There was a great selection of feature photos entered in this category, however, one clear winner. Jump fiction is not only technically perfect and visually stunning, it also tied in with timely news, that being the onset of hot weather. Second place tugs at the heartstrings while reminding us of the challenges presented during the COVID pandemic as a senior hugs a horse. Third place also captured the human experience, with a young daughter copying her father during a salute. Great job to all the photographers for capturing moments their communities.
