Michael tackles important issues and offers solutions to problems that plague society. The writing is tight and the content is engaging. Nicely done.
  • Competition Comment: Readers across Canada are treated to engaging, thoughtful, challenging and funny columns. It was a pleasure to read all the entries in this competition and to consider the issues and the commentary that was made by the people behind the keyboard. The best entries were hard-hitting, challenging and opinionated, but overall the columns that made up this category were well done. As the title of this award category indicates, some outstanding column writing is being done in Canada. Keep up the good work.
