    Judge Comment: A great team effort in covering the 10th anniversary of a historical event. Great use of pictures and in-depth coverage of a historical event for this community and surrounding areas. The explanation of this special assignment also stands out among other entries.

    Judge Comment: Unique approach by recognizing the RCMP work in the community. The ability to capture a community issue of increasing crimes and show appreciation for the RCMP and awareness of this local issue was unique and creative.
  • Competition Comment: Publishing Special Sections are more challenging these days for publishers. The balance between good editorial content and advertising support plus time required from beginning to end is a huge investment. Thanks to this year's 13 entrants for your dedication and hard work.
